ICC Mission & History . . . An Evolution —Educational DVD on mind development. One two-hour DVD was produced called Conscious Manifesting, on the benefits of focusing your intention to be successful in life. —Travel for Kids Program. An international travel scholarship program for teens interested in social development using engineering skills as used in developing countries. (ie Aswan Dam in Egypt) And to create opportunities for teens to expand their social skills to an international community. —Ancient Oriental Arts for stress management. Production on three video projects, targeted at three age groups, are complete. Qigong for Kids; Qigong for Seniors, and Rainbow Sun Qigong. (Qigong or Chi Kung pronounced chee-gong.) Five local Tucson kids, ages 9 - 18 were filmed in the production of Qigong for Kids. —Books on personal and spiritual development. Two books were produced by the ICC: Partnering with Spirit: Homer’s Journey, and Soul Journeys. Within three weeks of publication, the first book was on four continents. The second book is available June 05. —Seminars & Presentations. The ICC sponsors educational seminars, and free presentation to local and national communities. The Evolution First, a book, Life is Easier . . . Once You Know the Rules was nearly complete after nine months of working on it in 2001, until disaster struck and the book was lost to computer complications (long story). However, a two hour video called Conscious Manifesting was filmed of teacher Ellie Drew giving a presentation to a local IONS (Institute of Noetic Sciences) meeting in Tucson. This video lays out the five core Manifesting Principles of Conscious Manifesting. This information came from 1978 when Ellie Drew spent 9 months in prayer, fasting and meditation and out of that grew the ability to “make things happen.” Ellie didn’t share the information until 17 years later when she had a profound mystical experience in which she was told to share what she learned during that time. “People use the process of manifesting every day of their lives in unconscious ways. It is time now for the healers/awakened ones to begin manifesting consciously, to heal themselves, the earth, and each other. Go teach this!” Workshops in Conscious Manifesting have been taught all across the country. Out of the Conscious Manifesting Workshops grew the the idea of having Conscious Change Circles to work with the manifesting principles within a group. It was within the first Conscious Change Circle in Tucson, AZ that Homer Hefty showed up . . . twelve days after he had left his physical body . . . and thus the beginning of the Partnering with Spirit series of books where Ellie reluctantly relates the story of what Homer wanted to share from the “other side.” Within three weeks of Partnering with Spirit: Homer’s Journey book being published in October 2003 it reached four continents - North America, Europe, Australia and now Africa - simply by word of mouth and the diligent work of volunteers. Soul Journeys is the sequel to Homer’s Journey. Other products were produced in the midst of this. First came a Qigong for Seniors video, then Qigong for Kids DVD, and Rainbow Sun Qigong. (Qigong is pronounced chee-gong) Each of these ancient stress management, spiritual development products as been taught around the country, and at national conferences. Other products are in development: A Blue Light Tunnel Meditation CD, a children’s book, continuing Partnering with Spirit stories from “the other side.” |
